Get started package
In today’s world, it’s easy to feel like everyone’s trying to sell you something, which makes educating you about my work even more important to me. The Complement Channels are life changing, and I’m not being hyperbolic.
First, my goal is to work myself out of a job.
I’m not interested in seeing you for the rest of your life. Yes, some people, myself included, feel that ongoing—whether that’s monthly or quarterly—treatments help them stay physically and mentally healthy. But my business model is not designed for endless visits; I work in a very high touch way—hour long appointments with lots of educating & coaching—with a goal of you getting fully well and becoming a stranger. (ha!) The Get Started package was born out of what I’ve seen over the past ten years of study, teaching, working with patients, and from of my own experience as a patient of this medicine.
The truth is that there is no way to know “how long it will take” to see a change in your symptoms, but in my experience, I have seen that when people commit to coming in for weekly appointments as opposed to scheduling one appointment at a time, “seeing how it goes”, and then trying to find a time to fit an appointment into their schedule the following week, their results are dramatically better and quicker.
Think about it like going to the gym: whether or not you feel different after the first workout, in order to make a change, you have to commit to continued effort.
In Chinese medicine, it is believed that it takes 100 days to make the deepest kind of changes, so generally speaking, I think a three month timeline is a good ballpark estimate, which is why I’m encouraging people to choose the Get Started package—begin with six weekly sessions, see what’s happening for you & what you’re learning, evaluate the changes you’re making, and then let’s discuss whether you need further treatment and if so, how frequently. In most cases, people move to treatments every other week and then once a month.
In six weeks, patients are in a drastically different state than when they came in.
Mindset plays a tremendous role in our healing, and going into a treatment process with appropriate expectations is really important. After the first treatment, your symptoms could be different or not, and this is not necessarily the mark of success or failure. It simply provides information that we take into consideration at your next appointment, in addition to the lifestyle and mindset factors, and keep working together toward the goal of helping you be free from what’s been weighing you down.
