about me

Hey y’all.

I’m MG, and I’m glad you found me. I found acupuncture through seemingly unfortunate circumstances.

Shortly after running a marathon in my late 20’s, I could barely get out of the bed, and when all my tests came back normal, a doctor diagnosed fibromyalgia and suggested acupuncture.

With skepticism, fear, and a touch of hope, I booked an appointment. Seven weeks later, I was a drastically different person.

I had always been interested in medicine but never thought conventional medicine was the right fit for me, and this life changing experience opened my eyes to a different way to hep people with their health.

In 2014, began studying with Ann Cecil-Sterman, who is a world renown teacher on the application of the Complement Channels, which is what was practiced prior to the Cultural Revolution in China.

Ann was a devoted student of Dr. Jeffrey Yuen, who is an 88th generation Daoist Master, and it is through him that we have access to the information that was lost from the classic texts that remain.

I graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College in Albuquerque, NM and am a Doctor of Oriental Medicine (DOM, NM), a Licensed Acupuncturist (LAc, SC), and fully board certified by the National Certification Commission on Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM, Dipl.OM).

I am honored to have been voted the best acupuncturist in Albuquerque, NM in 2023 in the Albuquerque Journal’s Reader’s Choice Awards and have been published in Acupuncture Today.
